My experience with the Alexander Technique began in 1986 when I started taking lessons to help with lower back pain.

Discovering that my chronic back problem was the result of long standing habits of misuse, I began the task of re-learning ways of thinking and moving that helped to restore and maximize length of muscles and freedom of movement.

After a thirty year career in early childhood education and over a number of years of Alexander lessons I began training to become an Alexander teacher in London, England at the
. Upon completion of this training I did an additional teaching internship at LAMDA, the London Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Professional certification was awarded to me by the

in London as well as the American Society for the Alexander Technique(AMSAT).

I currently practice in East Bay and live in Bristol, Rhode Island.
